We chose a beautiful fall afternoon in late October for this family portrait session. The location is a pond next to a development in High Point, North Carolina.

This family was so fun to work with and even though we did this shoot during little Emma’s nap time, she was a trooper !

A little old farm house in Ramseur, North Carolina is where this couple decided to have their special day.
The ceremony and reception were outside.

The bride didn’t mind the chill in the air at all, she danced the night away and she didn’t miss a song.
This is one of my favorite shots: The father of the bride dancing with his little girl.
This wedding took place at Airlie Gardens, Wilmington North Carolina. The weather was perfect.
The couple exchanged vows underneath a beautiful big tree covered in spanish moss that was dancing in the breeze right next to the waterfront. It was magical and perfect in every way. A big tent was set up at the same location for the reception.
What a great way to start a life together. Lauren and Will - thanks for letting me be part of your special day ! It was truly a memorable experience for me.

We did this photo shoot this past May.It was a perfect location picked by the bride to be. A dreamy little log home somewhere in Greensboro on the country side next to a farm.
Lauren looked stunning in her wedding gown ! She was beaming from excitement about her upcoming wedding. I had a blast with her. In about 2 hours time we ended up with quite a few shots. Five of her favorites were picked for her to have framed and display at her wedding reception. I thought it was a very nice touch and a great way for her to showcase how beautiful she looked in her dress.
Finally ! It has been a long process getting my website and portfolio updated but I am so happy to let you all know that we are almost there - slowly but surely !
One of the main accomplishments of course being my new blog. I will be posting some pictures of past sessions that I want to share with you all. I hope you enjoy and come back and read more about what is going on at Julia Pierce Photography !
Before I wrap this up I want to thank my fabulous husband, Zac aka “Pierce advertising”, for all the hard work he has put into making this dream of mine come true. He has put in countless hours of work creating my website and portfolio etc. Honey, thank you so much for all your blood, sweat and tears. I appreciate it more than you will ever know and I understand that this is not part of your “honey-do-list”, so I will never take it for granted. All of this would not be possible without you. I love you ! XO
